Within the last year, Donald has had many challenges, one including the loss of his earthly father, but he is determined more than ever to do what saith the Lord. Donald Simms is a preacher, psalmist, writer, and musician from the Washington, D.C. area. His prayer is that God will use him to encourage those around him to live a holy and acceptable life in the name of the Lord. He truly believes in worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth. He has been given opportunities to perform for TV One, Atlanta Live, a Trayvon Martin rally in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, and in Evangel Cathedral‘s Christmas Celebration. During Evangel Cathedral’s production, he played Joseph along with being a part of a historic cast that featured artists including Marvin Sapp, Beverly Crawford, Tye Tribbett, and Fred Hammond. He has done background work for artists like Kevin Levar, Javon Inman, and Deon Kipping. After all is said and done, Donald gives all glory and honor to his Savior Jesus Christ. This sought after speaker and musician has the passion needed to bring young people to realize their purpose using his tools, music and the Word of God.
